In the remote highlands of Fujian, Yunnan, and Zhejiang provinces, our tea gardens sit above the cloud line where the air is thin and the soil is rich with centuries of decomposed granite and organic matter. At elevations between 1,200 and 2,400 meters, tea plants grow slowly, developing complex polyphenols and aromatic compounds impossible to replicate at lower altitudes.
We maintain direct trade relationships with twelve family-owned gardens, some cultivating tea for over three centuries. These partnerships ensure fair compensation while preserving time-honored harvesting traditions. Each leaf is plucked by hand according to the "one bud, two leaves" standard, selecting only the tender shoots that promise the most refined flavor.
